From Chile to Antarctica This area will highlight our travels from Santiago to Punta Arenas. See some of the sights on cruise to the Bransfield Strait on the Ice Breaker Nathaniel B. Palmer.
The Drake Passage and Bransfield Strait: This is is the area in Antarctica where the UTIG and OSU Science Groups conducted their research. See some of the sights and learn about the equipment used to do the research.
From Antarctica to New Zealand: This area will highlight our travels from Bransfield Strait to New Zealand. See some of the sights on cruise from north of the Antarctic Ice shelf and in New Zealand our final stop of the Cruise.
Wildlife & Nature of Antarctica: This is the area where your questions about animals encoutnered on the cruise will be answered. All the images in this area were taken while on the cruise.
Visit to Marsh Base - King George Island: Visit the Chilean and Russian Bases on King George Island. These bases are home to scientists and military persons and their families on a year round basis.
The Science Staff from OSU: Meet the scientists and research assistants from Oregon State University. This will provide a brief overview of their work and research on the cruise.
