Here we are again, on the eve of the start of a new Pointer hockey season. My hopes are running high for the season after watching the Boston Red Sox win their first World Series in 86 years, also aided by the fact that I won't be seeing professional hockey played any time soon. So I sit and wait, anxiously, to watch my favorite game played in one of my favorite places on earth. Tomorrow night, once again, the members of the rowdy crowd will converge on Stevens Point for one purpose, to root for our team. Well, two purposes, really, to root for our team and drink some beers. I personally haven't been in attendance at a game since the Pointer's last game and I'm craving it all. The sights, the smell of the ice, the sounds of heckling, just good old hockey. So to anyone out there that may be new to our ways, I invite you to come to the Willet Arena tomorrow night to partake in hockey with us. Tomorrow night, once again I shall return to the Willet, Casey Jones outfit and all, and declare "Tonight we dance."
