Our two married children live in the big cities of DC and Chicago, keeping their small-town,
midwest values, active in their Catholic parishes, giving their lives to service of others in education. Thank you God. Amen.
As a professional church educator I have offered my experience and creativity to enhance the learning culture of congregations integrated with family life, worship and service.
My deanery experience has provided me a perspective that denominational and ecumenical relationships at a county or regional level can lead to sharing resources and best practices.
Collaboration can transform a competitive attitude among congregations to one focused on needs in our shared local communities.
Also, we have much in common for an educational goal to form youth and adults who, as disciples of Christ, help build a just society in conformity with the values of the Kingdom of God.
I am especially interested in more effective implementation of adult learning methods and resources, and linking church and private libraries with improved stewardship, including storage, management, and promotion.
