Memorial Day Observance
We will observe Memorial Day again this year, honoring members of the Armed Forces who have served our country and especially those who have fallen in battle. Meet at the American Legion Hall on Main Street, on Sunday May 26, in full uniform, by 10:45. Will march to the cemetery for ceremonies. Parents -- please discuss the special meaning of Memorial Day with your son beforehand.

Reminder: the American Legion is our sponsor, they help support us financially throughout the year, let’s make an effort to support them on Memorial Day. Each boy that marches will receive a can of soda at the Legion Hall after the ceremony. PLEASE dress in your scout uniform, even if you will be in the Rustler’s Band.

"PACK EVENTS" - Are a time for fun, and a time for recognition of the boys' hard work! Badges earned are handed out at pack meetings. This is a time for your son to shine, and for you as a parent to be proud and encourage him. Scout uniforms are to be worn unless stated in the newsletter. Please remember that scouting encourages family participation -- all pack events are open to all family members. We discourage dropping your child off, however if you cannot attend but your child wishes to, please make arrangements for another scouting parent who is attending to be responsible for your child. (Tiger Cubs are an exception…all Tigers MUST be accompanied by parent/guardian at all scouting events/activities)
