The mission of the WPVCA shall be active in the education of coaches and atheletes in safe vault techniques.  To this end it shall:
 

1.  Be a vehicle by which coaches can have input to governing bodies.

2.  Work to disseminate information on new ideas and techniques in the vault.

3.  Work with other groups and individuals to promote track and field as a sport and to assure the continuation of the vault as an important part of that sport.

4.  Promote woman's pole vault.
