Between outside pressures and
inner conflicts, deciding what truly makes a
person happy can be tricky.
For divorcee Renee, the key to her happiness is
living her life by her standards.
Standing in her way are a meddlesome mom, crazy
aunt, and a friend whose friendship can be a bit
too much.
Ironically, their meddling could keep her
from doing what they want so much -- going
on a date with an
eligible bachelor. Will Renee find a way to
get everything she wants?
The two act comedy
appeals to a wide audience. It has conflict
that people can easily relate to,
humor, and a touch of romance. The ages listed
are flexible.
Renee, 30, has been
divorced a year and a half and is not sad about
it anymore.
Marge, 50, is Renees
meddlesome mom.
Steven, 55, is Renees
dad who calmly mediates between the two
headstrong women in his life.
Priscilla Ann, 52, is
Renees aunt who has interesting ways of looking
at life and dealing with problems.
Courtney, 30, is
Renees insecure friend and a friend of Renees
ex-husband.
Brad, 32, is Courtneys
husband and a friend of Renees ex-husband.
Nick, 32, a
maintenance man who installs Renee's ceiling fan.
Backstage help is always needed in the
