Classroom Guidance

Classroom guidance is provided to all kindergarten through sixth grade students.  It is delivered by the guidance counselors 2-3 times per month and by the classroom teachers who follow-up with activities during their own guidance times.  Guidance themes are broken down by month as follows:

September - Cooperation

October - Managing Conflict

November & December - Solving Problems

January - Setting Goals

February - Integrate Growth, Development, and Wellness

March - Connecting Family, School, Work, and Community

April - Making Decisions

May - Understanding Diversity, Inclusiveness, and Fairness
